Now that the first preseason game is in the books for the Minnesota Vikings, it is a little clearer how the 53-man roster could look.

Fans got a taste of Minnesota Vikings action on Thursday night when the team traveled to Seattle, Washington to take on the Seahawks in Week 1 of the preseason and were handed a 13-24 loss in the contest.

Although most of the starters didn't see action during the game, there were definitely opportunities for younger players or new faces to the team to make a good impression and hopefully earn a spot on the team's 53-man roster,

Some players made very positive impressions and increased their odds of sticking with the team while others struggled to separate themselves from the competition and remain on the chopping block.

Let's take a look at the 53 players who have a great chance to be on the Minnesota Vikings roster when Week 1 of the regular season rolls around and which unexpected names are included in that list of individuals.
