Fourth Round (Pick No. 83)

Riley Moss - CB (Iowa)

We always laughed whenever former Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer would claim that he could never have enough corners, but he's exactly right.

Minnesota has some talented cornerbacks on their current roster in Akayleb Evans, Andrew Booth Jr., and Byron Murphy. But their corner room is also full of question marks, so adding another like Riley Moss isn't something that the Vikings should be against in this year's draft.

Moss was a starter during the majority of his college career and he was one of Iowa's most reliable defensive backs during his tenure at the school.

His speed (4.45 time in the 40-yard dash) allowed him to keep up with almost any opposing receiver and his size (6-foot-1, 193 pound) helped him come up with 11 pass breakups in 2022.

With the amount of time that Booth and Evans missed last season due to injuries, Minnesota needs to make sure they have some solid cornerback depth for the 2023 campaign, and adding a guy like Moss is one way to do that.
