The 2023 NFL Draft is almost here and the Minnesota Vikings need to make the most of their limited draft picks during the three-day event.

With less than a week to go before Commissioner Roger Goodell takes the podium to announce the first-round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings, excitement is really heating up over who the purple and gold will select.

Heading into the draft, Minnesota only owns the rights to five selections. That doesn't mean they won't make trades to acquire picks, but here are the current spots where the Vikings are expected to be on the clock according to the team's official website:

  • Round 1, Pick 23
  • Round 3, Pick 87
  • Round 4, Pick 119 (From Lions)
  • Round 5, Pick 158
  • Round 6, Pick 211 (Compensatory)

If the Vikings don't make a trade, they will only be selecting five players, making those picks even more important to get right for the future of the organization. However, many fans and experts believe that Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah will be looking to acquire more picks early and often.

For the purpose of this mock draft, the Minnesota Vikings will not make any trades and will select when their currrently owned picks are on the clock. Let's see what kind of haul the team would be able to get.
