Second-Round Pick No. 2 (57th overall)

Kamari Lassiter - CB (Georgia)

The Vikings' loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 16 really highlighted their dire need for a reliable cornerback. Akayleb Evans stepped up to the No. 1 corner role with Byron Murphy out with a knee injury, and Minnesota's defense suffered greatly.

Evans was eventually benched for undrafted rookie Jaylin Williams, which proved to be a crucial moment in the game.

If the Vikings believe they require a true No. 1 shutdown cornerback to strengthen their defense, then Georgia's Kamari Lassiter could be the answer to their problem.

Despite his small stature at just over 6 feet tall and weighing just 180 pounds, Lassiter compensates for his size with his exceptional play. He boasts elite closing speed and is perfect in man coverage, making him a solid fit for Minnesota's current defensive scheme.

Moreover, Lassiter has been one of the top corners in the SEC over the last two seasons. If the Vikings could secure him in the second round, he would be a valuable addition to their team.
