Prospect No. 4

Xavier Legette - WR (South Carolina)

South Carolina has been far better than I had expected this season, and a lot of that is due to the growth of Spencer Rattler and Xavier Legette. Rattler, a forgotten quarterback prospect, has placed himself right back in the conversation as one of the best Day 2 quarterbacks, in my opinion.

Xavier Legette, on the other hand, has really emerged as one of the most exciting players in the country. On Saturday, he caught five passes but managed to rack up 189 yards and two touchdowns on those five touches. His first touchdown was a 76-yard score to open the scoring, and he followed it up with a 75-yard catch-and-run to put South Carolina up by 10 on the first play of the second half.

Legette moves with excellent burst and speed despite playing above 215 pounds and is a problem to tackle in open space. In four games this season, he has already eclipsed 500 yards and is having the best season of his career.

South Carolina has been able to compete against some strong competition this season thanks to the duo of Rattler and Legette, and they will be exciting to watch throughout the season and into the All-Star circuits this winter.
