With the college season at the midway point, how do some potential Minnesota Vikings draft prospects stack up among the rest of the draft class?

Quinn Ewers - QB (Texas)

On the other hand, Quinn Ewers was one of my favorite prospects in the draft class when the season kicked off, but he has not shown up at that level so far. Now dealing with an injury, Ewers is quickly falling out of the first-round picture and is probably going to have a decision to make regarding his future.

Ewers, who has a ton of arm talent and has shown flashes of running ability, has not been able to string throws together and be a consistent quarterback. With Arch Manning waiting in the wings, Ewers is probably not going to be the quarterback at Texas next season, but he may also not be ready for the next level.

Another transfer is certainly in the cards, and I could see Ewers taking a chance at another school to prove himself in the 2025 class, but he could very well take the leap and be a Day 2 developmental quarterback in 2024, but that would not be what the Vikings wants right now.

I still like Ewers, but he is drifting further and further away from the top six of this quarterback class. Right now, there are seven quarterbacks ahead of him in my rankings, and Ewers is well outside of the first round.
