Vikings Draft 2024: Pre-Super Bowl 7-round mock draft
By Adam Carlson
Fourth-Round Pick No. 2 (130th overall)
Michael Hall Jr. - Defensive line (Ohio State)
Getting better in the trenches needs to be a goal of the Minnesota Vikings this offseason. Whether having their current players step up in 2024 or adding new talent, the team needs to keep up with some of the great lines they will face in the future.
Harrison Phillips will be back to hold down the line and Dean Lowry could have another opportunity to prove himself, but bringing in an individual like Ohio State defensive lineman Michael Hall Jr. might be a smart move.
Hall stands six-foot-three and weighs 290 pounds. In his three years at Ohio State, he played in 26 games, earning 45 combined tackles. 10 tackles for a loss, and a fumble recovery. However, statistics aren't everything for a defensive lineman.
Standing out at Senior Bowl practices, there is a solid chance that Hall could start climbing in player rankings. He is being praised for his quickness and technique, which are two things that the Minnesota Vikings could use on defense.
