Fifth-Round Pick No. 2 (162nd overall)

Tahj Washington, Wide receiver (USC)

It would be a nightmare scenario if wide receiver is a huge need for the Minnesota Vikings by the time the 2024 NFL Draft rolls around. However, even with Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, a third wide receiver (or at least competition or one) would be necessary.

K.J. Osborn and Brandon Powell are both set to hit free agency. USC wide receiver Tahj Washington is an interesting prospect that is worth a mid-round selection. He struggled in his first year at Memphis but found his groove in his second year.

A transfer to USC saw Washington prove that his second year in Memphis was no fluke. In 2023, he caught 59 passes for 1.062 yards and eight touchdowns in ten games played, raising his draft value significantly.

Standing five-foot-eleven and weighing 175 pounds, Washington exceled in one-on-one drills at practices for the East=West Shrine Bowl. More positive hype could send him skyrocketing up draft boards.
