Since the release of the Netflix docu-series "Receiver" this past Wednesday, Minnesota Vikings fans have gotten a chance to learn a few new details about the 2023 season from the point of view of the team's star wide receiver, Justin Jefferson.

But Jefferson is not the only player featured in "Receiver", so viewers of the show have also had the opportunity to find out new information from the 2023 campaign about Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions, George Kittle and Deebo Samuel of the San Francisco 49ers, and Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders.

When it comes to Adams, "Receiver" even revealed some of the frustrations that the former Green Bay Packers wide receiver was dealing with on the sideline of the Raiders' 3-0 loss to the Vikings last season.

Minnesota Vikings gave former Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams his "most frustrating game" ever

Given that it was Jefferson's first time back on the field since injuring his hamstring in Week 5, last season's Week 14 matchup between Minnesota and Las Vegas was heavily featured during episode five of "Receiver".

Not only did this episode reveal what Jefferson was dealing with after he suffered a bruised lung in the middle of the contest, but the mics also caught Adams sharing the following statement to his teammates on the sideline during the game.

"This is the most frustrating game I've even been a part of."

In the matchup, the veteran Raiders wide receiver wound up catching seven passes on 10 targets, but he only averaged 7.8 yards per reception (53 yards total), and he didn't find the end zone at all.

Stopping Adams was clearly a top priority for Minnesota going into the game, as it should have been. The Las Vegas pass-catcher is a three-time First-Team All-Pro, and he's still regarded by many as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.

But the Vikings defense had a plan to minimize his impact, and they executed it about as well as they had probably hoped going into the contest. Minnesota's performance against Adams definitely played a significant part in the team being able to leave the field in Week 14 with a close win over the Raiders.
