There's no official diagnosis yet, but the initial assumptions about the leg injury suffered by Kirk Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins doesn't sound good.
As the Minnesota Vikings were leading by 14 points in the fourth quarter of their matchup against the Green Bay Packers, quarterback Kirk Cousins hobbled off of the field with what appeared to be an injury to his right leg or ankle.
Upon looking at the replay of the injury sequence, which was suffered without contact, some believe Cousins might have unfortunately sustained an injury to his Achilles.
Is Kirk Cousins injury about to ruin the Minnesota Vikings 2023 season?
The Vikings eventually ruled out Cousins with an ankle injury, but the replay still has people fearing the worst for the veteran quarterback.
If it is indeed an Achilles injury, the 2023 season for Cousins in Minnesota is likely over. And with him currently scheduled to become a free agent in 2024, this might have been his final game in a Vikings uniform.
