Vikings takeaway No. 2

Minnesota couldn't guard Keenan Allen.

It isn't very fun when a player has a career day against your team, and that's exactly what Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen did against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium during the Week 3 game.

Allen caught 18 of his 20 targets for a total of 216 receiving yards but didn't score a touchdown in the game. He added to his massive day by throwing a touchdown to teammate Mike Williams that went for 59 yards and caught the Vikings completely off guard.

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert seemed to target any defender attempting to cover Allen, with Byron Murphy Jr. being a target after a hip injury, was taken back to the locker room, and later returned to the game.

Keenan Allen's day was impressive on multiple levels, but it's always disappointing when e player has that type of game on a day when the Minnesota Vikings were already struggling to open the season and a win would have meant a lot for the season.
