Vikings takeaway No. 6

It's officially time to panic.

Losing the first two games of the season by one score or less was frustrating but adding a third game to the mix makes things much worse. That's especially true when it is another winless team that beats the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Every game for the Vikings now enters as close to a must-win situation as there can be. Considering there are teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers, and all six division games yet to come, winning won't be easy.

It might not be time to have a fire sale on the team quite yet but it is time to start wondering which players should survive this competitive rebuild and which ones probably aren't a great fit for the future of the franchise.

Thinking of the Minnesota Vikings returning to the playoffs or repeating as NFC North champions needs to be put on hold until this team can prove they can makes less mistakes and start winning football games.
