Thursday night, the Minnesota Vikings got their first taste of preseason action. Some of the bigger names didn't end up playing, thankfully, as Minnesota looked to see what they had in a lot of their younger guys.

The Vikings took a loss in this one, 24-13, but as they say, it's only preseason.

We did, however, get a chance to see some highlight-reel type plays. Let's look at a few videos that Vikings fans are going to love from this one.

Tight end Nick Muse goes up and snags a Vikings touchdown

The first play fans went wild over was the Vikings' second quarter touchdown reception by Nick Muse. It came early in the quarter when the Vikes held a 3-0 lead. Nick Mullens dropped back to pass, and second-year tight end Nick Muse ran to the corner.

Mullens threw it up and Muse, well, he went up and got it.

It was well-worth celebrating for the former South Carolina standout. Muse immediately went into a "griddy," as do many Vikings players after scoring. Thanks, Justin Jefferson for that trend!

Muse is currently competing for a spot on the roster and is the number four tight end, sitting behind veterans Johnny Mundt, Josh Oliver and T.J. Hockenson.

Last year, Muse was mostly a Vikings practice squad member and the Vikings were able to get by keeping him around. But, if he continues making plays like this during the preseason, it's only going to get tougher for Minnesota to hide his talents if they don't make room for him on the active roster by the end of August.
