Recent rumor indicates Danielle Hunter would like to remain with the Vikings

Vikings pass rusher Danielle Hunter is in the middle of a spectacular 2023 season with 13.5 sacks and 18 tackles for a loss. It's especially good for Hunter that he has been playing so well this year since he will become a free agent following the conclusion of the 2023 campaign.

When the NFL's 2024 free agency period begins next March, it is believed that Hunter will be one of the most sought-after players that will be available to sign with another team if decides not to remain with Minnesota.

But according to KSTP's Darren Wolfson on a recent episode of SKOR North's "Minnesota Sports with Mackey & Judd", Hunter apparently Hunter "really, really likes it [in Minnesota]," and "he wants to be [with the Vikings]."

Now, obviously, another team can offer a contract to the veteran pass rusher that exceeds whatever amount of money Minnesota is willing to pay him. But if Hunter truly wants to remain with the Vikings, he would likely be more willing to work out a deal that benefits both him and the team for the next few seasons.
