Some significant Minnesota Vikings news broke on Sunday when the team released their inactives for the Week 14 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

In their first action since their Week 12 loss to the Chicago Bears, the Minnesota Vikings will be without starting right guard Ed Ingram on Sunday when they take on the Las Vegas Raiders inside Allegiant Stadium.

Ingram was listed as questionable on Minnesota's final injury report this week due to a hip injury, and that injury is clearly bothering him enough to prevent him from playing on Sunday against the Raiders.

In his place, Minnesota will have reserve offensive lineman Blake Brandel step in and start at right guard for the Week 14 matchup in Las Vegas.

For Ingram, Sunday will be the first NFL game he's missed ever since he entered the league in 2022 as a Vikings second-round draft pick.

Compared to all of the struggles he dealt with as a rookie, Ingram has been playing much better this season. Heading into Sunday's game against the Raiders, Ingram had the 36th-best offensive grade from PFF among all qualifying offensive guards around the NFL.

Last season, Minnesota's young right guard finished with the 57th-best offensive grade from PFF among qualifying offensive guards around the league. So his development seems to at least be heading in the right direction.

Brandel has proven he can fill in well when called upon to start for the Vikings in the past. So, hopefully, he can deliver a solid performance for Minnesota on Sunday.
