Kirk Cousins shares details about his viral dance

It's been more than three months since veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins tore his Achilles in the Vikings' Week 8 win over the Green Bay Packers. Cousins is still months away from being 100 percent recovered from his injury, but he took some time on Thursday night to prove to the world that the healing process is going well.

During Thursday's NFL Honors ceremony in Las Vegas, the Minnesota quarterback and longtime New Orleans Saints pass rusher Cam Jordan took part in a dance routine with some members of the Magic Mike Live crew.

Cousins' dance moves were a hit online, not just for his top-notch choreography, but people were also impressed that he was able to dance like he did just a few months after tearing his Achilles.

On Friday, Cousins talked about his viral dance routine during an interview on NFL Network.

"We had fun with it. It was a great time. Cam Jordan was a great dance partner, he was on it.

We got to know those Magic Mike dancers pretty well. We spent the last couple days with them really learning some choreography.

I learned a whole new world there and definitely took my preparation from being a quarterback over to dancing."

As we've seen during the last few years, Cousins likes to have a good time and make people laugh. So we can probably expect things like Thursday's dance performance to continue next season, regardless of what team he ends up playing for.
