Former Vikings RB listed as questionable for Super Bowl LVIII

On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs will attempt to become the first NFL team to win the Super Bowl in back-to-back seasons since 2004 when they take on the San Francisco 49ers inside Las Vegas's Allegiant Stadium.

Former Vikings running back Jerick McKinnon is currently a member of the Chiefs, but he hasn't appeared in a game since Week 15 because of a groin injury. However, that could change on Sunday.

McKinnon was part of the Kansas City team that won the Super Bowl last season, and after the Chiefs revealed on Friday that the running back is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup, he has a decent shot at helping the organization add another Vince Lombardi trophy to their collection this weekend.

With Kansas City this season, McKinnon was able to find the end zone five times in 12 games, however, he only accumulated a total of 252 yards (60 rushing, 192 receiving).

The veteran running back began his NFL career back in 2014 after Minnesota drafted him with a third-round pick. McKinnon then wound up spending four years with the Vikings before leaving the franchise during the 2018 offseason when he became a free agent.
