Former Minnesota Vikings DE Jared Allen a Hall of Fame finalist
On Wednesday, the Pro Football Hall of Fame revealed 15 modern-era finalists for their 2024 induction class, and among those who have been selected is former Vikings defensive end Jared Allen.
This is the fourth year in a row that Allen has been named a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Will he finally get the nod this time?
Joining the former Minnesota pass rusher in this year's group of modern-era finalists are Julius Peppers, Devon Hester, Antonio Gates, Fred Taylor, Reggie Wayne, Torry Holt, Andre Johnson, Rodney Harrison, Darren Woodson, Eric Allen, Dwight Freeney, Patrick Willis, Jahri Evans, and Willie Anderson.
If Allen were to be selected for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he would be the first Vikings inductee since former Minnesota offensive guard Steve Hutchinson in 2020.
