Vikings safety Cam Bynum finally gets to play a game with his wife in the stands
Following an impressive performance against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7 that resulted in him winning the NFC Defensive Player of the Week, Minnesota safety Cam Bynum revealed a sad truth to the world that his wife has never been able to attend one of his NFL games due to visa issues that had prevented her from traveling to the United States from the Philippines.
But then Bynum was all smiles on Sunday as, for the first time ever, his wife was in the stands to watch him suit up for the Vikings.
She even got a souvenir to take home after it looked like Bynum intercepted a pass during Sunday's game against the Saints. Unfortunately, the original interception ruling was reversed after a replay review, and the pass ended up being ruled incomplete.
So the interception didn't count, but Bynum's wife still got something memorable to bring home. Oh, and she also got to enjoy watching her husband help lead the Vikings to their fifth win in a row.
