Vikings News: Adrian Peterson denies memorabilia is for sale at estate auction
Rumors started to circulate on social media and Minnesota Vikings blogs about an estate sale being held by former star running back Adrian Peterson could potentially have some of his awards and trophies for sale.
Peterson took to X (formerly Twitter) to set the record straight about the "false story" and explained that an estate sale company included some of his trophies in the sale despite clear instructions that to "leave personal items untouched."
He followed that statement by sharing that he will be taking legal action and that he made a mistake by not supervising this company during the sale to ensure that his storage units were not plundered for the sale.
The former Minnesota Vikings running back emphasized throughout the video that he is financially stable and had no intention to sell any of his trophies. He also expressed disappointment in the media for running with the story before getting verification.
