Vikings News: Former Vikings RB Ameer Abdullah cast in Hollywood film

Former Minnesota Vikings running back Ameer Abdullah has always had a passion for acting and has landed a role in an upcoming urban drama film alongside some familiar Hollywood names as well as other athletes.

Abdullah has been cast to play a character named K-Money who is a street king looking to recruit in the film titled "Break the Cycle". The film is under production in Memphis, Tennessee according to an email from publicist Michael Misetic.

He joins Vivica A. Fox, Cuba Gooding Jr., Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Loretta Devine, and Kym Whitley along with former NFL tight end Vernon Davis in this drama written by former NBA player Jarnell Stokes.

"“This film is a heart-pounding journey through the world of streetball that explores themes of family, ambition, and the moral complexities of urban life. It tells the story of navigating a treacherous path, an unfortunate reality for far too many young boys in our urban communities. I’m so excited to have Ameer as part of this tremendously talented group of actors who will help bring this project to life.”"
