After the trade deadline came and went on Tuesday, which Minnesota Vikings news and rumors stand out as the most notable?
With Tuesday being the final opportunity in which every team around the NFL could make a trade, it's no surprise that some of the latest Minnesota Vikings news and rumors have to do with this season's trade deadline, especially since the purple and gold made multiple deals during the day.
But making trades isn't all the Vikings have done recently. Minnesota also did the inevitable for quarterback Kirk Cousins, they announced who their starting quarterback will be for their next game, and they said goodbye to Garrett Bradbury's neighbor.
So let's just get into everything right now.
Vikings officially end the season for Kirk Cousins
After tearing his Achilles during the team's win over the Green Bay Packers this past Sunday, the Vikings officially placed Cousins on the team's injured reserve list and essentially closed the book on his 2023 season.
Cousins will eventually undergo surgery to repair his torn Achilles, but in true Kirk Cousins fashion, he didn't let his injury (or his new scooter) get in the way of appearing at a Halloween party hosted by the Vikings on Monday and signing autographs for kids who were in attendance.
