Insider predicts Josh Dobbs will remain the Vikings starting QB
After beginning his Vikings career with two impressive performances, quarterback Josh Dobbs has landed back on earth during the team's last two games, and it's resulted in two losses for Minnesota.
So, with the Vikings currently having an extra week to prepare for their next game due to their bye, the team is taking advantage of their extra time to decide if Dobbs will continue as the starting quarterback this season.
During a recent episode of "The Rich Eisen Show", NFL Media's Tom Pelissero had the following to say about Minnesota's current quarterback position.
"If I were making an educated guess, I would say it's still Josh Dobbs as the [starting] quarterback."
Pelissero added that the Vikings probably want to see how the return of All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson in the team's next game could have an impact on Dobbs' performance.
But after turning the ball over multiple times in his last two games, it's safe to say that Dobbs will be on a short leash if does end up remaining Minnesota's starting quarterback when they return from their bye in Week 14 to take on the Las Vegas Raiders.
