Fifth-Round Pick No. 1 (156th Overall)

Zak Zinter - OG (Michigan)

The Vikings go back to the offensive line well with their next pick, and for good reason. Right now, the Vikings' offensive line is extremely thin, especially on the interior.

Dalton Risner is a free agent who many expect back, and even if he does return, the only backup player is Blake Brandel.

The Vikings have to address this in free agency and the draft, and landing Zak Zinter in the fifth round would be a solid move.

Zinter comes from a college program led by former NFL head coach Jim Harbaugh. They prided themselves on successfully running the football and Zinter had a huge role in that.

Zinter is huge, standing 6-foot-6 and weighing 322 pounds. He's a nasty run blocker who plays with a mean streak.

He has nice long arms, which helps keep defenders at bay when pass blocking, and he has plenty of strength, which makes him a well-rounded blocker.

He doesn't have high-end athletic ability and he can sometimes struggle to lead plays on the outside. He can work on that, but overall, Zinter would be a great add at this point, instantly upgrading the depth with the ceiling to develop into a starter.
