Former Minnesota Vikings receiver Percy Harvin will likely be featured in "Swamp Kings", an upcoming Netflix documentary about the 2006-09 Florida Gators.

Before Percy Harvin was selected in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, he spent his college football career starring at the University of Florida. Well, now Netflix is planning to release a new documentary in August titled "Swamp Kings" about the 2006-09 Florida Gators that will likely include Harvin.

During those four years that will be covered in this upcoming documentary, Florida had some of the most notable names in college football history inside their locker room, including Harvin, Tim Tebow, Cam Newton, Aaron Hernandez, Maurkice Pouncey, Mike Pouncey, Brandon Spikes, Joe Haden, and of course, their head coach Urban Meyer.

Nothing as far as whether Harvin was interviewed for the documentary or not has been confirmed. But how can a film about this era of Florida football be made without including the former Vikings receiver in it?

Harvin had over 1,300 total yards from scrimmage in each of his final two years at Florida (2007 and 2008), to go along with 27 total touchdowns. He was doing things out on the football field that teams in college football and the NFL are still trying to emulate to this day.

Much of the documentary will likely focus on Tebow, Meyer, and Hernandez. But let's just hope the creators of the film made sure to highlight just how spectacular of a player Harvin was for the Gators as well.
