Vikings player to be excited about No. 5
Jordan Addison, wide receiver
Justin Jefferson will get the headlines for the Minnesota Vikings when it comes to pass catchers, but there should be plenty of love for first-round draft pick Jordan Addison after his extremely productive rookie season.
Addison had twice as many touchdowns as Jefferson in 2023 and flirted with 1,000 yards. Had he not been injured near the end of the season; the young receiver likely would have reached that milestone to go with his 10-touchdown effort.
Addison showed speed and an ability to get separation as a rookie. When Jefferson was out with an injury, the rookie stepped up and became a target for whichever quarterback happened to be throwing the ball for Minnesota that particular week.
Like the other players on this list, Addison is a young, dynamic individual who could continue to get better as they gain experience. Now that he will have one full season under his belt, Addison could be fun to watch in 2024.
