The Minnesota Vikings might be off to a rough start this season but that doesn't mean their playoff hopes have already come to an end.

Two weeks of the 2023 NFL season are complete and the Minnesota Vikings are yet to get their first win. It is still extremely early, but hopes of a playoff berth have already started to deteriorate among the team's fanbase.

A tough schedule is ahead for the purple and gold, but Minnesota isn't a team that is likely to roll over this season in hopes of earning a high pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. They have far too much pride for that.

When comparing this season to last year, it's hard not to be disappointed at this point. This year already feels very different from 2022 when the team won 13 games and consistently found a way to snatch wins from the brink of despair.

It might be a bit early to completely give up on the playoff hopes for the Minnesota Vikings. Optimistic fans know there are still some great reasons to think the team can rebound from their 0-2 start and find a way into the postseason.
