Kirk Cousins is off to a hot start

Whether you like him or not, Kirk Cousins is a very good quarterback and has quietly been racking up an absurd number of passing yards and is currently only seven yards behind Miami's Tua Tagovailoa among the team leaders.

Cousins has completed 64 of his 88 pass attempts for 708 yards and six touchdowns to go with only one interception. He was nominated for FedEx Air Player of the Week in both Week 1 and Week 2 of the season.

Pass protection has struggled to help Cousins and there has been almost no run game to support play-action, yet the Vikings have found a way to move the ball down the field using the arm of Kirk Cousins.

If Cousins can continue playing at a high level, fans of the Minnesota Vikings shouldn't count the team out of any of their upcoming games. Eventually, that play will result in a win during the 2023 NFL season.
