A few weeks after re-joining the Minnesota Vikings, veteran linebacker Anthony Barr reportedly has interest from the Dallas Cowboys, the team he played for in 2022.

After Jordan Hicks went down with a significant injury in November, the Minnesota Vikings knew they needed to add more experience to their group of inside linebackers. So, the Vikings brought in an old friend in the form of veteran linebacker Anthony Barr.

Minnesota signed Barr to their practice squad, and in each of the team's last two games, they have elevated him to the active roster to take part in the matchup.

Now, since Barr is still technically on the Vikings' practice squad, he could still be signed by another team as long as that team immediately adds him to their active roster.

Vikings Rumors: Dallas Cowboys interested in signing Anthony Barr away from Minnesota

After parting with Minnesota in 2022, Barr eventually landed a job with the Dallas Cowboys last season. He appeared in 14 games for the Cowboys in 2022, starting in 10 of them.

Well, according to 105.3 The Fan radio's Bryan Broaddus, Dallas is interested in bringing Barr back. The Cowboys just missed out on signing All-Pro linebacker Shaquille Leonard, and apparently, they would still like to add a veteran linebacker to their current roster.

As mentioned earlier, since Barr is still only on the Vikings' practice squad, he can still currently be signed by Dallas as long as they add him to their active roster.

If Minnesota wants to prevent this from happening, then signing Barr to their own active roster is something they should consider doing sooner rather than later.
