Among the most recent Minnesota Vikings rumors is one that has to do with the team's plans at the quarterback position when they return from their bye in Week 14.

Unsurprisingly, most of the latest Minnesota Vikings rumors have to do with who the team will select to be their starting quarterback when they return in Week 14 to take on the Las Vegas Raiders.

Well, according to The Athletic's NFL insider Dianna Russini on Saturday, signs appear to be pointing to Josh Dobbs remaining Minnesota's starting signal-caller for the team's game against the Raiders.

Based on what Russini has heard from around the league, she believes the Vikings "will be sticking with Dobbs" when they travel to Las Vegas next weekend.

Vikings Rumors: Josh Dobbs likely getting at least one more chance

After he was acquired right before this year's trade deadline a few weeks ago, Dobbs was able to make an immediate impact in Minnesota as he helped lead the team to wins in each of his first two appearances.

But in the Vikings' last two games, the veteran quarterback was a turnover machine, and it resulted in Minnesota leaving the field with a loss in both matchups.

After the team's latest loss, Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell was forced to answer questions about whether he would make a quarterback switch before the team's next game in Week 14 against the Raiders.

O'Connell was honest and indicated that Minnesota would evaluate all three of their active quarterbacks during the bye week to see if they need to make a change under center.

So it sounds like Dobbs is going to get at least one more shot to prove he deserves to remain the Vikings' starting quarterback.

Will he take advantage of this opportunity and rebound from a terrible performance in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears? Or will next Sunday be the final time we see Dobbs in Minnesota's starting lineup?
