Ranking all 14 QBs on the Minnesota Vikings schedule from worst to best

6. Jared Goff (Detroit Lions)

Yes, the Lions did just use a third-round pick on former Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker. However, Jared Goff won't be giving up his starting job any time soon if he continues to perform like he did last season.

In 17 games for Detroit last year, Goff threw for 4,438 yards, 29 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Luckily for the veteran quarterback, Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson didn't land a head-coaching job this offseason, so he gets to work with him for at least one more year.

5. Justin Fields (Chicago Bears)

Expectations are high for Justin Fields heading into the 2023 season. Fields made some tremendous strides in 2022, but he still has plenty of improvements to make.

To help him out, the Bears were able to acquire wide receiver D.J. Moore from the Panthers earlier this offseason. Moore has the potential to help Fields improve as a passer in a similar way to how Philadelphia Eagles receiver A.J. Brown helped quarterback Jalen Hurts further his development last season.
