The Minnesota Vikings schedule for the 2023 NFL season has officially released, and we've got an extremely early game-by-game prediction for you to check out.

We already knew which teams they would be facing in 2023, but we now know when all of the games will be taking place as the entire Minnesota Vikings schedule for the upcoming NFL season has been officially released.

Now let's see go over each game on the Vikings' 2023 schedule and see if we can predict the correct outcome.

Minnesota Vikings Schedule 2023: Game-by-Game Predictions

Week 1 - Sunday, September 10th

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Luckily for the Vikings, this season's matchup against the Bucs won't be against a Tampa team with Tom Brady as their starting quarterback. Brady decided to retire earlier this year, and it seems like it's for good this time.

Instead, Minnesota will get to take on a Bucs team with Baker Mayfield as its projected starting quarterback. Defeating Mayfield and Tampa should be much easier for the Vikings to do than it would have been if they had to face Brady.

Prediction: Vikings win (Record 1-0)

Week 2 - Thursday, September 14th

at Philadelphia Eagles (TNF)

Recently, taking on the Eagles in their home building has not been a fun experience for the Vikings. Minnesota managed to squeak out a win in Philadelphia in 2018, but the Vikings have lost three of their last four road games against the Eagles by a combined score of 83-24.

Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts dominated Minnesota in their meeting last season. Unless the Vikings' defense makes significant strides before taking on the Eagles in 2023, we should expect Hurts to make life difficult for Minnesota again in this matchup.

Prediction: Vikings lose (Record 1-1)

Week 3 - Sunday, September 24th

Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert is regarded by most around the NFL as one of the best quarterbacks in the league. For some reason, however, the Chargers haven't been able to turn Herbert's excellence into success for the entire team.

As two franchises that have played a ton of close games during the last few seasons, expect this contest to come down to the wire and potentially be decided by a last-second field goal.

Prediction: Vikings win (Record 2-1)
