2. Philadelphia Eagles
Vikings fans had to know the Philadelphia Eagles were on this list, and how couldn't they be? These are the reigning, defending NFC Champions, after all. Jalen Hurts is now one of the most exciting, feared and difficult-to-defend quarterbacks in all of football.
But it only starts with Hurts. He has two elite-level wide receivers in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, plus Dallas Goedert at tight end. And, we haven't even talked about the back field, which seems to be ever-changing in Philly. It doesn't matter who is back there, honestly. The Eagles are going to run the football and run it a lot.
Defensively, this unit lost a couple of key names, but somehow, they reloaded without any problems whatsoever. The draft has almost been a practical joke on the rest of the league, as the Eagles continue to, somehow, land Georgia Bulldog defenders. And that's always a good move, if you're looking for top-end, defensive help.
Philadelphia is still the favorite in the NFC, and it's not close. If the Vikings want to contend, they'll have to figure out how to beat this powerhouse of a roster.
