Vikings takeaway No. 3

There is not a lot of depth elsewhere.

For how deep the Minnesota Vikings looked at tight end during Week 2 of the preseason, there were other spots where depth could be a huge issue for the team as the 2023 NFL season inches toward commencement.

The offensive line, defensive line, secondary, and just about every unit struggled against a tough Titans team. Thankfully, the team has been lucky and hasn't needed to make adjustments for any serious injuries.

It is expected that there will be a dropoff in talent when moving between each unit, but some of the play during Saturday's preseason game was not only disappointing but outright unacceptable at times.

Don't be surprised if the Minnesota Vikings watch the players cut from other rosters very closely to upgrade at spots, especially on the offensive line. They likely won't be ready to pay a lot for a player, but there should still be some talent out there.
