Vikings training camp takeaway No. 4
Some players look ready for action already
The case could be made that some of the longer-tenured veterans around the NFL may not necessarily need as much practice time as the rookies or younger players fighting for roster spots or roles on the team.
Sam Ekstrom shared that quarterback Kirk Cousins looked sharp on his thows durin the first practiice, making great throws to several of the offensive weapons the team will have available for the upcoming season.

Other than one throw broken up by Camryn Bynum, Kirk Cousins was very sharp. Tight-window connections with TJ Hockenson, Jordan Addison and KJ Osborn today, amongst others.
Nick Mullens had a big connection to Trishton Jackson.
Cousins wasn't the only one that looked ready for prime time. Vikings reporter Gabe Henderson praised Jordan Addison, Patrick Jones II, and Camryn Bynum for the stills they exhibited during practice and the work they seemed to put in during the offseason.

1️⃣ @ESPN_Jordan BELONGS‼️Route running, poise & natural playmaking ability were all on display today.
2️⃣ @P_Jones9 will be a force to be reckoned with in ‘23. Hes toned up & more explosive.
3️⃣ @Cambeezy_ is playing so much more loose & instinctive.
There are still quite a few training camp practices to go for the Minnesota Vikings and the other players will be ready to go soon, but if there is one player you specifically want ready for action, it is your starting quarterback.
