Vikings player No. 2

Jalen Nailor, wide receiver

The wide receiver position is definitely top-heavy for the Minnesota Vikings, Justin Jefferson is the man when healthy and rookie Jordan Addison has been proving why he was a first-round pick. K.J. Osborn and Brandon Powell have also found their roles this year.

Meanwhile, Jalen Nailor has felt like the odd man out. He showed some potential as a rookie last season but hasn't been able to follow up with any kind of notable play this season, particularly on offense.

Nailor played in one offensive snap this season before he was placed on short-term injured reserve with a hamstring injury. When healthy, he acts as the gunner on special teams, where he has played 35 snaps this year. He returned to the 53-man roster yesterday.

Guys like Lucky Jackson, Trishton Jackson, N'Keal Harry, and Thayer Thomas have all seemed to be offensive priorities over the 24-year-old pass catcher. Time will tell if he will be able to work his way into the mix in the future.
