Move No. 5
Not being afraid to make bold changes to the team
How many years did the previous leadership of the Minnesota Vikings feel like they were so close to being a championship team that they didn't make many adjustments to the roster and only looked to add talent?
Adofo-Mensah has been able to evaluate this team and realize that winning games now is pretty good but setting up for future success will not only keep his job secure but be best for the franchise moving forward.
Quickly making coaching changes, adjusting schemes, and being able to identify and eliminate problem contracts are bold moves that will pay off in a major way if the new general manager gets them right.
Even if Adofo-Mensah makes some mistakes, the fact that he is willing to do what it takes to shape the future of the organization should be a positive sign that good things are on the horizon for the Minnesota Vikings.
