Multiple former Vikings could be part of 'Hard Knocks' this summer

A number of former Minnesota Vikings players could be featured on HBO's "Hard Knocks" this summer when the show follows the New York Jets.
For another year, the Minnesota Vikings have managed to avoid being the team featured on HBO's hit series "Hard Knocks". Instead of the Vikings, the award-winning show that follows an NFL team through training camp each summer will be following the New York Jets this year.
While much of the attention will likely be centered around new Jets quarterback, and former Minnesota nemesis, Aaron Rodgers, there are a few former Vikings players that could also be featured in the latest version of "Hard Knocks" this summer.
With there also being rumblings of Dalvin Cook possibly signing with New York this year, there could potentially be a total of four former Minnesota players on "Hard Knocks" this year.
Which former Minnesota Vikings could be on "Hard Knocks" with the New York Jets this summer?
So who are the former members of the Vikings that could be filmed by HBO during this summer's Jets training camp? Well, let's go over which former Minnesota players are currently on New York's roster.
Tyler Conklin - TE
After a breakout performance with the Vikings in 2021, Tyler Conklin cashed in during the 2022 offseason when he signed a $20.25 million deal with the Jets.
In his first year with New York, Conklin continued his solid play, as he finished with 58 catches for 552 yards, and three touchdowns. It would surprise absolutely no one if he ends up becoming one of Rodgers' favorite targets next season.
Chazz Surratt - LB
Selected by Minnesota in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Chazz Surratt landed with the Jets last year after the Vikings cut him before the start of the 2022 regular season.
Surratt only appeared in one game for New York in 2022 and he'll certainly be fighting for a spot on their final roster this summer.
Craig James - CB
A former Minnesota Golden Gopher, James was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Vikings in 2018, and he ended up appearing in three games for the purple and gold as a rookie.
Since that 2018 season, James has appeared in a total of 18 games, all with the Philadelphia Eagles. After spending all of 2022 on the Jets' practice squad, the 27-year-old defensive back will be battling this summer to convince New York he shouldn't be part of the team's final cuts before the regular season.
