It has been a tough start to the season for the Green Bay Packers. Tough losses to the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings have the team from Wisconsin sitting with a 2-2 record and tied for last place in the NFC North through four games.

However, winning football games is a huge challenge when you can't have your best players on the field. For the Packers, quarterback Jordan Love returned from an MCL sprain that he sustained in Green Bay's season opener last week in time to push the Vikings to the limit.

A little more bad news hit the Green Bay Packers on Saturday when the team suspended one of their most dangerous offensive weapons for one week. The young wide receiver will miss their Week 5 game against the Los Angeles Rams.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport shared on his X account that Romeo Doubs will miss Sunday's game after being suspended for missing practices but is not expected to miss more than this week's game and should return for Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Over on Facebook, NFL insider Adam Schefter went into a little more detail. He explained that the official reason for Doubs' suspension is "conduct detrimental to the team" and he was placed on the reserve/suspended list.

"Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to suspend Romeo for this week's game. His decisions and actions during the week negatively impacted the team and required us to take this action. While we are certainly disappointed, we are confident that we will be able to move forward in a positive manner. Romeo is a valuable member of our team and we look forward to welcoming him back next week."

The game between the Packers and Rams should be a good contest between two teams with potentially explosive offenses. Green Bay needs this win to hope to climb the ranks in the NFC North, where the 4-0 Minnesota Vikings lead the way.

Romeo Doubs had four catches for 39 yards against the Vikings last week. However, the Vikings don't play the Packers again until Week 17, when the guys from Green Bay will make their way to Minnesota and play in front of the crowd at U.S. Bank Stadium. A lot can happen between now and then, but hopefully, both teams will be at full strength for an epic rematch from Week 4.
