Vikings potential trade target No. 2

Jonathan Taylor, RB - Indianapolis Colts

This is the most unlikely trade on this list but it is also one that the Minnesota Vikings have to be at least a little interested in. Jonathan Taylor is one of the best running backs in the NFL when he is healthy and is only 24 years old.

Minnesota has just moved on from Dalvin Cook, so they likely aren't looking to take on another big contract in the near future. Taylor is looking for a big contract once his rookie deal concludes and it has led to some interesting situations with the Colts.

The Colts are reportedly playing it safe with Taylor, stating that he's still injured but the running back has gone on record as saying he is healthy. Indianapolis has given him permission to seek out a trade partner, but so far there haven't been any takers.

There is no doubt Minnesota would love to add a talented, young running back to their roster but the cost to not only trade for Taylor but give him an extension he would agree to makes this deal unlikely for the Vikings.
