If the idea of taking on a massive contract with Kyler Murray has you completely turned off from the idea of the Minnesota Vikings trading for him, then the concept of trading for Malik Willis might be more appealing to you.

During the 2023 NFL draft, the Tennessee Titans drafted Will Levis are expected to name either him or Willis as the team's backup quite soon. Since it would be surprising to see the Titans not support thier recently drafted quarterback, Willis should be expected to be the team's QB3.

As previously stated, the Minnesota Vikings are likely seeking a young quarterback to take over for Kirk Cousins if the team moves on from him and Willis could sit behind Cousins and learn the Vikings offense with the hope that he becomes the heir apparent for the purple and gold.

Willis looked good during the preseason, raising his trade value for Tennessee. The only real questions would be if the Vikings see enough long-term potential in him to put him under Cousins' wing and how committed the Titans are to Levis at this point.
