Predicting the 12 remaining games on the Vikings schedule following 1-4 start
Week 12 - vs. Chicago Bears (Monday Night Football)
Back-to-back primetime games for the Jaren Hall led Vikings, and once again, they see another rival in the Caleb Williams sweepstakes. At this point in the season, it's hard to imagine Minnesota wanting to stay competitive given the circumstances they could be in.
For Chicago, they want to know that Fields is the guy, so they still have a ton to prove before the season ends. Bears head coach Matt Eberflus is coaching for his job every week, and his defense will be ready for Kevin O'Connell and Hall.
Justin Jefferson remains out with his hamstring injury, so he is of no help to the Vikings in this game. In the end, Chicago's deep passing attack and their defense are able to pull ahead of Minnesota in the end.
Prediction: Vikings lose (2-10)
Week 13 - BYE
Week 14 - at Las Vegas Raiders
The game plan for Minnesota's defense is simple: Contain Davante Adams. The game plan for the Vikings' defense is also simple: Contain Maxx Crosby. As long as Minnesota can do those two things, they have a serious shot at winning this game.
It would be smart to assume that Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels has already been relieved of his duties by the time this game rolls around. As the season's conclusion draws closer, the Vikings grab a rare win in Sin City.
Minnesota's run game should be plenty effective, and Jaren Hall should be able to do enough to manage the game and lead the Vikings back into the win column.
Prediction: Vikings win (3-10)
