Week 13 - Bye

Week 14 - at Las Vegas Raiders

Coming off a bye, it is hard to imagine the Vikings dropping this game to a Raiders team that could be in the same boat as the Broncos and Bears this season.

Las Vegas imploding. Davante Adams has been very vocal about his frustrations with the franchise, Josh McDaniels seems like the betting favorite to be the first head coach fired this season, and there is just a dark cloud over this Raiders team.

I personally believe that Adams will be gone by the trade deadline. He is not willing to play for a team out of contention, and at this point in his career, he is chasing a Super Bowl ring. Las Vegas is not equipped to even contend for a playoff spot, let alone a Super Bowl.

Minnesota won't be shaking in their boots at the duo of Jakobi Meyers and Hunter Renfrow, and the Raiders defense outside of Maxx Crosby has significantly underperformed. As long as Crosby is contained, the Vikings offense should put up numbers in this game.

Prediction: Vikings win (7-6)

Week 15 - at Cincinnati Bengals

Every year, the Vikings win a game they simply shouldn't. Last year, it was the Bills game, and in 2023, this game is just that. Expect most to take the Bengals in this contest, but don't be surprised when Minnesota leaves Ohio two games over .500.

It is clear that Joe Burrow isn't the same since the calf injury, but I don't expect this play to continue. The Vikings' defense will have their hands full with the trio of Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd.

In this matchup, Jefferson will have another big game right in front of his former LSU teammates and Minnesota will keep their postseason hopes alive.

Prediction: Vikings win (8-6)
