Week 17: Vikings vs. Packers

The Green Bay Packers are figuring things out and will not be a pushover for the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17. Both teams will be fighting for a Wild Card spot in the playoffs and U.S. Bank Stadium will be rowdy on the New Years Eve edition of Sunday Night Football.

Minnesota has been massively disappointing in their last two prime-time games. Their loss to the Broncos was disheartening, but falling to a Bears team that didn't score a single touchdown was a massive embarrassment.

Jordan Love isn't looking like the train wreck many would hope he would be and some key players have been stepping up. Green Bay is ninth in rushing yards per carry this season and will use that rushing attack to grind out the game.

Back-to-back division losses late in the season won't feel good., but this game has trouble written all over it. Green Bay would be 8-7 after this game if they lost to Kansas City but beat the Giants, Buccaneers, and Panthers, making the Wild Card race very interesting.

Prediction: Vikings 17 - Packers 24 (8-8)
