Nolan Smith, EDGE - Georgia

First, lets take a moment to realize what a big draft the Philadelphia Eagles had with talented defenders landing in their laps. One of those individuals is Georgia edge rusher Nolan Smith, who somehow fell to the penultimate pick of Round 1.

With there being rumblings around both Za'Daruus Smith and Danielle Hunter being unhappy with their current situations, it's a bit surprising that the Minnesota Vikings didn't invest a draft pick in an edge rusher.

Smith's last two years at Georgia established him as a real menace, especially when he registered eight tackles for a loss, including 4.5 sacks in 12 games during his 2021 campaign at the University of Georgia.

If Smith becomes an elite pass rusher at the NFL level, there's a good chance the Minnesota Vikings might regret not making him their first round selection rather than improving the offense with a wide receiver.
