Quarterback No. 2

Jaren Hall

If the Minnesota Vikings struggle this year and find themselves eliminated from playoff contention, it wouldn't be too shocking to see the team kick the tires on rookie quarterback Jaren Hall if Kirk Cousins goes down.

A fifth-round draft choice this year, Hall shined at BYU, often showcasing great decision making and an arm that can make any pass asked of him. In 29 games, he boasted a 52 to 11 touchdown to interception ratio while completing over 65 percent of his passes.

Of course, Hall would need to play well during training camp and the preseason to earn this kind of opoortunity. The 25 year old Utah native has the potential to impress and should be fun to watch leading up to this season.

Both Jaren Hall and Nick Mullens would know the Minnesota Vikings playbook and be familiar with the players and the system, giving them a major advantage when it comes to filling in as the starter if somehing happens to Cousins.
