As previously mentioned, there is debate among experts as to whether it will be North Carolina's Drake Maye or LSU's Jayden Daniels who will be the No. 2 quarterback selected during the 2024 NFL Draft.
With the three teams at the top of the draft all likely to be looking at selecting a quarterback, it might be tough for the Minnesota Vikings to make a trade to move up into one of those slots to grab their quarterback of the future.
Investing a large amount of draft capital to move up and draft Daniels would be a bold move by Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, but not one that is out of the question. The Heisman Award-winning quarterback is exciting and could fit in well with the new-look Vikings.
Daniels has 55 games of college experience between Arizona State and LSU, where he threw 89 touchdowns to 20 interceptions and an overall passing efficiency rating of 158.4
. The sky could be the limit for Daniels in the NFL.
