Quarterback No. 5

Case Keenum (2017)

Not even Case Keenum could have predicted what ended up happening in his lone season with the Vikings back in 2017.

Keenum joined Minnesota in the 2017 offseason to be the backup for Sam Bradford, and he almost didn't even make the team's final roster. But the Vikings quickly had to turn to Keenum early in the 2017 season while Bradford was dealing with a knee injury.

His start to the 2017 campaign was a little rough (just 167 passing yards in his first game as a starter in Week 2), but he eventually found his groove in Minnesota's offense, and he helped lead the franchise to their first appearance in the NFC Championship since 2009.

Of course, Keenum will mostly be remembered as the guy who threw the pass during the iconic "Minneapolis Miracle" play. But he also had a very solid season for the Vikings in 2017. In 15 appearances, Keenum completed 65.6 percent of his passes for 3,547 yards and 22 touchdowns, which resulted in a 98.3 passer rating.
