Quarterback No. 9

Teddy Bridgewater (2014 - 2017)

Minnesota had high hopes for Teddy Bridgewater after trading back into the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft to select the former Louisville quarterback.

Bridgewater hardly put up monster numbers during his tenure with the Vikings, but with 17-11 record as a starter in purple, he typically did whatever was necessary in order to help his team get a victory.

Unfortunately, his career with Minnesota was cut short after he suffered a brutal knee injury prior to the 2016 season. Luckily, Bridgewater was able to recover enough from his injury to return to making a living in the league, but his time as a starter for the Vikings essentially ended on that day when he injured his knee.

Quarterback No. 8

Warren Moon (1994 - 1996)

In search of a more established option at quarterback, the Vikings made a trade with the Houston Oilers in 1994 to acquire veteran signal-caller Warren Moon.

Moon did well enough to earn a trip to the Pro Bowl in his first two seasons with Minnesota. But then he suffered a broken collarbone midway through the 1996 campaign and he ended up appearing in just eight games in, what turned out to be, his final season with the Vikings.

Moon's 4,264 passing yards in 1994 still ranks fifth in Minnesota's all-time record book for single-season passing yards.
