Vikings potential trade target No. 1

Kentavius Street, DT - Philadelphia Eagles

If the Minnesota Vikings work out a trade, it would most likely be for a defensive player who could be a contributor for many years. At only 27 years old, Kentavius Street could be exactly the kind of player that makes a lot of sense.

Standing six-foot-two and weighing 287 pounds, Street is stuck on an Eagles roster that has an abundance of wealth on the defensive line. Through seven games, he has only played 65 defensive snaps and nine special teams snaps, meaning he might be considered expendable despite flashing potential starter ability.

There have been several times the defensive line has struggled for the Vikings. Although they have some quality players on the roster, more talent could definitely help to bolster the trenches against a strong rushing attack.

Street is currently on a one-year deal with Philadelphia, meaning the Minnesota Vikings would likely want to work out an extension unless they see him as just a rental. Thankfully, his price tag is low, as he is making $1.28 million this season.
